Answers before you ask

Does ForeWay work at my golf course?
Yes — 42,000+ courses in our database with GPS layouts on all UK / EU / US courses. If yours isn't there, add it in seconds from the app: search OpenStreetMap, import polygons, done. Every course you play adds to the shared library.
Do my friends need the app to be in my events?
No — event links work for anyone, no account required to RSVP or view a leaderboard. Friends who sign up get scoring, chat, and match reports too, but the event organiser is the only person who has to have an account.
How does handicap tracking work? Is it official?
Handicap updates automatically after every round using the WHS formula (slope + rating per tee). Great for tracking your live handicap between official CONGU updates — not a replacement for your governing body but the maths matches.
Is my round data private? Who sees my scores?
Your data is yours. Rounds are private by default — only you see them unless you share a link or link them to an event you're playing in. Analytics run in your account, never sold or shared. Full privacy controls in Settings.
Do I need a paid plan to track rounds?
No — Core is free forever and covers unlimited round logging with FIR / GIR / putts, handicap tracking, and basic scoring trends. Plus and Pro unlock AI analysis, live scoring, and Strokes Gained. Downgrade anytime; every round you've logged stays.
